Technical Luncheon Presentation - "Gas Diagnostics: To Drill or Not to Drill?"
For those of you who were unable to attend, here is an overview of our last technical talk.
We invite you to our information session on how to determine if infill drilling has the potential to be beneficial for your field development. We will present diagnostic techniques that are simple to use and do not require a lot of time to perform.
We will demonstrate techniques to help you:
- determine OGIP in gas reservoirs
- determine average reservoir capacity/productivity (Kh)
- calculate expected pressure profiles
- gas rate diagnostics (depletion and Kh index)
- evaluate infill effectiveness and potential
- rapidly evaluate effect of increased compression and/or further infill drilling on production rates
- forecast expected well performance
- present 2 examples with very different results
